About us

Coolawarra & Storybook Alpacas, has been dedicated to the development of a uniquely Australian Alpaca since 1988.

Coolawarra now runs 1,200 alpacas across two farms, just an hour and a half south of Sydney.

At Coolawarra we offer a range of services including:

• Animal sales (small and large lots)
• Sire services
• Alpaca agistment
• Classing consultancy
• Animal maintenance (including shearing, drenching, vaccinations, teeth and toe trims)
• Alpaca youth development camps.

We’re committed to continually evolving our breeding program to ensure we stay at the forefront of this rapidly developing Australian alpaca industry, whilst maintaining our long-term vision of a high quality fleece producing alpaca.
