Coolawarra’s services are extensive and personalised to meet all your alpaca needs.

Our services include:

  • Animal sales
    • Our Show Quality stock, both males and females are individually priced and start at approximately $5,000.
    • All Stud breeding stock starts at approximately $1,200 for weaner females with packages available for large numbers.
    • Companion or non stud stock for hobby farming or schools - start at $300.00 for young weanling males and variable prices for females on application.  Packages available in groups of 5 to 10 animals.
    • Herd protector or 'lawn mowers'for small acreages - start at 2 wethers or older females $400 per pair.
  • Sire services
    • See Stud Sires Pages for individual descriptions and costs of our National Champion winning bloodlines.  Service fees start at $330.
  • Alpaca agistment
    • Includes all feed and routine supplementation, drenching and vaccinations as well as the carrying out of the full reproductive routine (does not include vet visits or shearing).  $12 per week per female and $8.00 per week for non breeding males.
  • Workshops and follow-up Sales support

  • Client information and support is provided for stud and show quality sales regarding all aspects of the animal selection process, animal husbandry, nutrition, farm management, farm layouts, business plans, photographic support for marketing purposes, and fleece management.
  • Alpaca Youth Development Programs
    • We offer annual Youth camps and mentoring of youth throughout the show season. Contact us for information or find the 'Australia Alpaca Youth Group' on facebook.
  • Events for Youth
    • Youth Camp at Cambewarra - dates to be confirmed for 14/15 January, 2017.  Cost approximately $150 per participant, including all training, demonstrations, classroom materials, all meals and campsite/shed space for the weekend.
    • Junior Judging Training Workshop - 19th November, 2016 (Cost yet to be determined)
  • Contact us for advice on leasing alpacas or purchasing alpacas and running them on your own property, or maintaining them at Coolawarra.
